Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) screening on Tuesday. February 4, is the first of the 2025 Adventure Circuit Film series presented by the Arts council of Big Sky.
VIMFF presents unique outdoor films and content that illustrate experiences and cultures from all corners of the globe which brings communities together to promote positive values and active lifestyles. The VIMFF connects our global outdoor community with international filmmakers, creators and speakers, so that we can inspire, entertain and bring mountain adventure into the homes of our viewers.
This year's diverse collection of films showcase work presented by filmmakers in 2024/2025 capturing great moments in outdoor adventure and mountain living.
Film goers are invited to come early and enjoy dinner or a drink at the Waypoint for the show begins.

Since 2006, the Paddling Film Festival has been bringing audiences the very best films about paddling. Whether it’s exploring wild rivers, navigating vast oceans, or capturing the serenity of a remote lake, these stories inspire us to connect with nature, push our limits, and appreciate the incredible places paddling can take us.

Established in New York City in 1998, the MANHATTAN SHORT receives over 1600 short film entries from over 75 countries a year. Ten of these entries are selected as finalists in our annual Festival. The ten film finalists are packaged and distributed on Blu-ray and DCP to all of our participating venues. This Festival is not just one of the largest short film festivals in the world, it is the world’s first global film festival, a global celebration and we are inviting you and your community to become part of it.
