Instructor: Kate Huston of Tiny Box Worlds

Schedule: Tuesdays, 4:00–5:30 PM

Duration: Two-part workshop, 1.5 hours per session

This two-part youth workshop introduces young artists to the art of assemblage through paper collage. Participants will create a unique finished piece inside a shadow box using a thoughtfully curated selection of paper elements, textures, and imagery.

Led by artist Kate Huston of Tiny Box Worlds, the workshop guides students through layering, cutting, arranging, and composing papers to build depth, balance, and visual interest. The focus is on creativity, exploration, and intuitive decision-making while learning foundational collage techniques in a supportive and inspiring environment.

This workshop encourages self-expression and imaginative thinking and is suitable for a wide range of skill levels.
