Get ready to mix it up in Mixed Media Madness Camp. This creative week is all about experimenting with different materials, techniques, and layers to create unique works of art. Campers will explore how artists combine paper, paint, texture, and found materials to build artwork full of color, depth, and personality.
Throughout the week, campers will create a variety of mixed media projects, including smashbook-style journals filled with drawings, patterns, and memories, as well as imaginative collage pieces made from magazines, papers, and unexpected materials. These projects encourage experimentation and self-expression while introducing students to new artistic techniques.
Camp includes art projects, games, snacks, and outdoor playtime, weather permitting. Campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, snack, and clothing appropriate for the weather, and be ready to have fun and make art.
Participants do not need a BASE membership or to be enrolled in BASE after school programs to attend. Please pre-register your child for this camp.
Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
If you have any enrollment questions, please contact Rebecca at rebecca@bigskyarts.org.
