Get messy, bold, and brilliantly creative in Express Yourself Camp. This week is all about big feelings, color, and making art that is full of energy and personality. Campers will explore expressive and abstract styles inspired by artists like Jackson Pollock, experimenting with splatter painting, movement-based mark making, and dynamic color combinations.
Throughout the week, campers will dive into fun projects like vibrant salt painting, dreamy cyanotype prints created using sunlight, and other creative explorations across multiple mediums. Students will create exciting textured pieces that are striking and fun to make while discovering new ways to express themselves through art.
Camp includes art projects, games, snacks, and outdoor playtime, weather permitting. Campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, snack, and clothing appropriate for the weather, and be ready to have fun and make art.
Participants do not need a BASE membership or to be enrolled in BASE after school programs to attend. Please pre-register your child for this camp.
Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
If you have any enrollment questions, please contact Rebecca at rebecca@bigskyarts.org.
