Duration: 5-day camp
Location: Big Sky Center for the Arts, 77 Lone Peak Drive
We are going on an artistic adventure around the world in this Travel Around the World Camp featuring Rhythm Drums. Campers will explore a new country each day, discovering how culture, history, and traditions inspire art across the globe. From the intricate paper folding of Japan through the art of origami to vibrant mixed media projects inspired by patterns, symbols, and storytelling from multiple continents, campers will experience a wide variety of artistic styles and techniques.
A special highlight of the week is a visit from Rhythm Drums on July 1. Campers will participate in an interactive drumming session, learning about rhythm, instruments, and the cultural history behind them during a high-energy day of music and creativity.
Camp includes art projects, games, snacks, and outdoor playtime, weather permitting. Campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, snack, and clothing appropriate for the weather, and be ready to have fun and make art.
Participants do not need a BASE membership or to be enrolled in BASE after school programs to attend. Please pre-register your child for this camp.
Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
