When food becomes art. In this colorful and creative camp, students will make vibrant dips while learning about color, patterns, and the beauty of naturally colorful foods with Tiny Box Worlds. Campers will paint and play with their food while exploring nutrition, creativity, and the tasty things in life.
This class introduces basic cooking skills including beginner knife techniques, mixing, and blending to create delicious dips. Students will also learn how to make natural dyes from food ingredients and use them to paint with their newly created edible colors.
Camp includes art projects, games, snacks, and outdoor playtime, weather permitting. Campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, snack, and clothing appropriate for the weather, and be ready to have fun and get creative.
Participants do not need a BASE membership or to be enrolled in BASE after school programs to attend. Please pre-register your child for this camp.
Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
