Public Art Night at Music in the Mountains

Join us for Public Art Night at Music in the Mountains as we celebrate the power of creativity and community through public art in Big Sky!
This special evening is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to sustain and expand public art initiatives throughout our town. We’ll be spotlighting Big Sky Beings, 2025—the community-inspired mural by Bozeman-born artist Stella Nall, located in the pedestrian tunnel connecting Little Coyote Road and Lone Peak High School.
The mural, Big Sky’s first large-scale public artwork, came to life through feedback from local residents who answered the question:
“If you could imagine a make-believe ‘Big Sky Being’, what would it be like?”
To support this initiative and future public art in Big Sky, we’ll be offering exclusive merchandise featuring characters from the mural. All proceeds directly benefit public art programming.
Come early, grab your merch, meet some of the creative minds behind Big Sky’s growing public art scene, and enjoy a night filled with music, imagination, and community spirit.
