Please join the Arts Council as we kick off our 2023 Music in the Mountains free summer concerts with a performance from Midnight North! The show takes place in Len Hill Park in the Big Sky Town Center and is family friendly and free! Food and beverage vendors will be available, and please remember that NO DOGS are allowed into the park during the concerts. Park opens at 6 p.m., with music starting at 6:30 with Flapjack. Midnight North will take the stage at 8 p.m.
A group of multi-instrumentalists with songwriting roots in Folk and Americana, Midnight North is a mainstay on the stages of the national touring circuit. Rolling Stone hailed Midnight North as the “Best New Act” in its review of 2018’s Peach Music Festival saying the band “takes the best parts of roots music and weaves them into a tapestry of rock and Americana.” The band features Grahame Lesh, son of Grateful Dead founder Phil Lesh.
Flapjack features local legend Mike Beck and an all-star cast of area players coming together for a cosmic country-rock vibe reminiscent of the Laurel Canyon and Bakersfield sounds.
This show is sponsored by Lone Mountain Land Company.
