About the Festival

The Lone Peak Film Festival champions inspiring stories, builds community, and uplifts local and Indigenous filmmakers. Through mentorship, connection, and powerful storytelling, the festival seeks to spark positive change and create meaningful impact.

By highlighting films that showcase kindness, resilience, and perseverance in the face of adversity, the festival offers a counterbalance to the negativity of mass media. Audiences can expect compelling, beautifully crafted stories that not only entertain but also move and inspire.

Bringing these stories to Big Sky provides opportunities for filmmakers to connect with audiences, expand their careers, and amplify the social impact of their work—all while uniting the community in celebration of the power of film.

Please note: Seating is general admission. A ticket purchase guarantees a seat, but seats are not assigned.
