Kid’s Art Camp 2025 – Week 9: The Art of Songwriting and DJ Workshop
This week, campers will dive into the world of music and storytelling through the art of songwriting and DJing! With the guidance of our instructors, kids will explore how to create lyrics, compose melodies, and even produce beats, culminating in a fun and collaborative music project. Whether they're into writing lyrics or mixing sounds, this camp allows campers to express themselves through the power of music!

Time: 9 AM - 4 PM (Monday - Friday)
Location: The Big Sky Arts Center, 77 Lone Peak Drive
Ages: 6-10

What to Expect:
- Learning the basics of songwriting, from writing lyrics to composing melodies
- Introduction to DJ techniques, including beatmaking and sound mixing
- Fun, hands-on music projects that foster collaboration and creativity
- Engaging activities and games that explore the relationship between music and art
- Outdoor playtime (weather permitting)
- Snack breaks – campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, and snack
