Kid’s Art Camp 2025 – Week 8: The Phenomenon of Photography!
In this exciting week, campers will explore the basics of photography, learning how to capture the world around them through the lens of a camera. They’ll experiment with composition, lighting, and creative techniques to create their own photo masterpieces. Whether using a camera or smartphone, kids will discover how to tell stories and express themselves through images.
Dates: July 28 - August 1, 2025
Time: 9 AM - 4 PM (Monday - Friday)
Location: The Big Sky Arts Center, 77 Lone Peak Drive
Ages: 6-10
Cost: $290 / Contribute-What-You-Can
What to Expect:
- Introduction to photography, including basic camera techniques and photo composition
- Learning how to capture everyday moments with creative approaches
- Fun photo challenges to experiment with different styles and perspectives
- Games and activities to inspire visual storytelling
- Outdoor playtime (weather permitting)
- Snack breaks – campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, and snack
