Kid’s Art Camp 2025 – Week 6: Creative Collage on Canvas!
This week, campers will dive into the world of mixed media and collage, using a variety of materials to create layered, textured artworks on canvas. From paper and fabric to paint and found objects, kids will experiment with different techniques to design unique compositions that express their creativity.
Dates: July 14 - July 18, 2025
Time: 9 AM - 4 PM (Monday - Friday)
Location: The Big Sky Arts Center, 77 Lone Peak Drive
Ages: 6-10
Cost: $290 / Contribute-What-You-Can
What to Expect:
- Hands-on exploration of collage techniques, layering, and composition
- Using various materials like magazines, textiles, paint, and natural elements
- Learning how to arrange and adhere different textures for a dynamic final piece
- Games and activities that encourage artistic expression
- Outdoor playtime (weather permitting)
- Snack breaks – campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, and snack
