Kid’s Art Camp 2025 – Week 10: The Art of Pottery!
In this final week of camp, campers will get their hands dirty with the ancient art of pottery! They will learn to shape and mold clay, explore wheel throwing and hand-building techniques, and personalize their pottery creations with unique designs. By the end of the week, each child will have crafted their own clay masterpiece to take home!
Dates: August 11 - August 15, 2025
Time: 9 AM - 4 PM (Monday - Friday)
Location: The Big Sky Arts Center, 77 Lone Peak Drive
Ages: 6-10
Cost: $290 / Contribute-What-You-Can
What to Expect:
- Hands-on experience in pottery, including wheel throwing and hand-building techniques
- Personalizing pottery creations with paint, glazes, and design
- Exploring the creative process of working with clay, from start to finish
- Fun activities that complement the art of pottery
- Outdoor playtime (weather permitting)
- Snack breaks – campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, and snack
