Intermediate & Advanced Pottery with Zach Stephens
Join Zach Stephens for an immersive 5-week pottery course designed for experienced potters looking to refine and expand their skills. This class is open to those who have consistently taken All Levels Pottery classes and are independent wheel-throwers and hand-builders.
Important Information:
- Intermediate & Advanced Focus: Only intermediate and advanced techniques will be taught—no beginner instruction. This class is perfect for experienced potters who want to hone their craft with expert guidance.
- Small Class Size: With a maximum of 8 students, you’ll receive both group instruction and personalized, one-on-one guidance.
- Materials & Equipment: All materials and tools are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own tools if preferred.
- Weekly Open Studio: Class participants also gain access to weekly Open Studio sessions. To reserve a space, pre-registration is required at $20 per session.
Class Details:
- Language: Instruction is available in both English and Spanish.
- Attendance Policy: If you need to miss more than one class, please consider registering for a future session. Only one make-up class is allowed due to illness or extenuating circumstances.
- Vessel Limit: Participants are allowed to throw or build up to 5 vessels during the 5-week course. For more than 5 vessels, a shelf fee of $30 will apply. Additional clay is available for purchase at $30 per bag.

- Additional Fees: Shelf fee for extra vessels, clay purchase, and Open Studio sessions as noted above.
- No BASE pass required: Participants in Arts Council of Big Sky classes do not need a BASE pass to sign up.
- Tax-Deductible Contributions: Any payments above the suggested class fee (e.g., Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
