An Evening of Indigenous Cooking, Culture, and Conversation with Mariah Gladstone
Wednesday, July 9 | 6–8 PM
Join us for a hands-on cooking class led by Mariah Gladstone, founder of Indigikitchen and a leader in the Indigenous food sovereignty movement. A member of the Piikuni (Blackfeet) and Tsalagi (Cherokee) Nations, Mariah will guide participants in preparing a nourishing meal using ingredients native to North America—no processed foods, dairy, wheat, or refined sugar. A ceramic bowl made from reclaimed clay from our studio crew will also be included for each participant to take home.
As we cook, Mariah will share insights into the deep connection between food, culture, and community health, along with stories from her work revitalizing Indigenous foodways. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
