Selected Artists from the Big Sky Artists Collective will be featuring a set of larger works for sale at the BASE Art Gallery December 18th - March 31st. Artists include Thomas Reed, Chris VanOver, Ryan Drewes, Marquies Hill, Maggie Shane, Sue Elliott, Michelle Kristula-Green, Tim Radigan, Thom Peterson, Alicia Pearson, Patty Bauchman, and Georgia Baker.
The Big Sky Artists Collective was created out of the group of artists that participated in the First Annual Big Sky Open Studio Tour in December of 2019. That initial event motivated the artists to work as a group to promote local artists. The Founding Artists were: Georgia Baker, Michelle Kristula-Green, Donna LaHue, Heather Rapp, Tilly Mattox, Dave Pecunies, and Maggie Shane. The Collective now has over 30 members and also runs the Big Sky Artists’ Studio & Gallery.
The mission of the Big Sky Artists Collective is to support, inspire and promote local artists in the community by building a community of artists who live and/or work in the Big Sky area.
