Join us for the final session of the Art of Self Care workshop series.
Tension and trauma get stored in our bodies and often do not fully release until we engage or move our bodies. Yoga, gymnastics, martial arts, dance – all of these could be called somatic movement as somatic refers to the physical body. When approached intentionally, movement helps us tune into our internal experiences, and learn to recognize and regulate our tensions without avoidance. In this session we will practice intuitive movement and utilize the somatic connection to create a personal relevant mantra to use in meditation.
