All Levels Pottery – 5 Weeks
Dates: January 8, 2026 – February 5, 2026
Time: Fridays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: BASE Art Studio
Ages: 11–111 | Grades 6th to 18+
Format: Multi-week session

Beginner, intermediate, and advanced potters are invited to this immersive 5-week pottery course. This unique class caters to all ability levels and uses a student-led approach with both wheel-throwing and hand building methods. Whether you're just starting out or refining your skills, this class is designed to help you meet your pottery goals.

New potters will learn the basics of wheel throwing, hand building, decorative techniques, and glazing. Experienced potters will have the opportunity to enhance their craft with expert guidance. With a small class size (maximum 8 students), participants will receive both group instruction and one-on-one support.

All materials and equipment are included. Students may also use their own tools if preferred.

Participants in this class also gain access to a weekly Open Studio session on Thursdays. Open Studio requires pre-registration, and each session is $20.

English and Spanish language instruction is available.

If you will miss more than one class during the session, please consider signing up for a different or future class. Only one class may be made up due to illness or extenuating circumstances.

Additional fees:
– A $30 shelf fee applies if you wish to create more than 5 vessels during the class
– Additional clay may be purchased at $30 per bag

Participants in Arts Council of Big Sky classes do not need a BASE pass to register.

Contribute-What-You-Can (CWYC) pricing is available. Any class payments above the suggested fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged via email.
