All Levels Pottery – Sunday Evening
Dates: Sundays, June 22 – August 24, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: BASE Art Studio
Ages: 11–111 | Grades 6th to 18+
Type: 10-Week Multi-Level Pottery Course
Beginner and intermediate potters are invited to join instructor Sierra Hooge for an immersive 10-week pottery course designed to meet students where they are and support their growth. This course combines both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques in a student-led, supportive environment.
New to pottery? You'll learn the fundamentals of throwing, hand-building, decorating, and glazing. More experienced students will refine their techniques and deepen their creative practice with the guidance of an expert ceramic artist. The small class size (8 students max) ensures both group instruction and personalized feedback.
All materials and equipment are provided, though students may bring their own tools if preferred. Class participants also receive access to a weekly Open Studio session (pre-registration required, $20 per session). Instruction is available in both English and Spanish.
Important Notes:
– Only two absences may be made up due to illness or extenuating circumstances.
– A $30 shelf fee applies if you plan to make more than 10 vessels during the session.
– Additional Archie Bray A-Clay is available for $30 per 25lb bag.
BASE passes are not required to register.
Any amount paid above the standard class fee (such as through “Take a Class/Give a Class,” “Help a Neighbor,” or “Sponsor Materials”) is tax-deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
